poor cleanliness

i simply cannot believe the utter chaos with breakfast orders! being chastised for not choosing in advance, when we were misled, was utterly ridiculous. also, can someone please clean the TV remotes? i expected a welcome gift after all this nonsense, but instead got an unwelcoming vibe. it was just the worst experience. almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't.

Darren's warmth just makes you feel right at home, like old chommies. The brekkie was a proper dik one, best scrambled eggs ever! Plus, our room had a spacious vibe – felt like a little hideaway to chill and kuier.

Road noise was a bit there at first, but it settled down nicely at night.

staying at ashley house bed & breakfast was wonderful. the location is great, just a short walk from the lively high street and train station. our room was clean and comfortable, which is always a plus. The standout was definitely the breakfast. those scrambled eggs and sausages were delicious! the hosts, darren and margaret, made us feel like family.
